About Kristen’s Paper Dreams
Hi, I’m Kristen — the artist behind Kristen’s Paper Dreams.
The quilled ribbons shown in the image reflect mental health awareness and suicide prevention—causes that have shaped my journey and continue to influence my art.
Creativity hasn’t always been part of my life, but there was a time when creating became something more than I knew it could — art became a way to survive, to process, and to heal. During a period of deep personal struggle, working with my hands gave me a sense of calm and grounding when words were hard to find.
Over time, that quiet practice grew into the work I create today. Through paper quilling and mixed paper techniques, I explore healing, remembrance, faith, and the steady, restorative rhythm of making something by hand. Each piece is created slowly and intentionally, with care for both the process and the meaning behind it.
Kristen’s Paper Dreams exists because art can be a companion through hard seasons and a celebration during joyful ones. Whether I’m creating a framed artwork, a small keepsake, or guiding others through an in-home class, my goal is always the same: to create something personal, comforting, and lasting.
Thank you for being here and for honoring the stories carried through handmade work.
